Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Professional to fill this role.

This position involves managing and supporting cloud environments, operating systems, directory services, and enterprise infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.

The ideal candidate will work as a liaison between Infrastructure and Delivery teams, ensuring global standards, security, and operational excellence across all our infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Windows and Linux operating systems in our cloud environment.
  • Manage logical volume management (LVM) and monitor server health for optimal performance.
  • Administer user authorization and access controls, ensuring seamless integration with Active Directory and LDAP directory services.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Linux and Windows instances in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Handle cloud storage solutions, creating and attaching EBS volumes, partitioning drives, restoring from snapshots, and optimizing storage usage.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings, including security groups, rules, and restrictions for secure data transmission.
  • Automate deployments using AMIs and CloudFormation templates to streamline our deployment process.
  • Migrate AWS instances across different VPCs to ensure business continuity.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services such as RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, ensuring high availability and scalability of our infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, users, and access policies to ensure secure access to our cloud resources.
  • Execute server patching, decommissioning, file system configurations, and network setups to maintain our infrastructure's reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration, with experience in managing cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including virtualization technologies like VMware.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP directory services for authentication and access control.
