Higher Education Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our higher education initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the higher education landscape and be able to interface with stakeholders at mid/senior level.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Thought leadership/policy advocacy work in higher education.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with university leaders/multilateral/bilateral organizations and other important stakeholders in higher education.
  • Conduct periodic committee meetings, develop agendas, prepare minutes, and manage task forces.
  • Organize and manage the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit.
  • Work towards mobilizing new members and managing membership engagement/activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of higher education landscape (policy, regulatory, etc).
  • Ability to interface with stakeholders at mid/senior level (govt, regulatory, universities, industry, etc).
  • Primary and secondary research.
  • Managing events/delegations/conferences.
  • Analysis & report writing.
  • Project management.
  • Excellent presentation skills and MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Teams).
