Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented production leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit. This is a critical role aimed at delivering production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Lead and oversee all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.
  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations.
  2. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records.
  3. Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain.
  4. Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.
  5. Monitor production costs and resource utilization to meet predefined goals.
  6. Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
  7. Drive lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  8. Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent is required. A minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry is also necessary.

  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
