| The Role:

The AI Engineering team is at the heart of transforming how millions access personalized nutrition and care. The Staff AI Engineer will play a critical role in designing and deploying solutions that drive real-world impact, like tailoring communications, improving engagement, and reducing missed appointments. As a Staff AI Engineer, you will develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

You will build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models. You will also fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models for specific business use cases. Furthermore, you will integrate external AI services where appropriate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features. Finally, you will contribute to MLOps workflows, including deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.

Key responsibilities include:
