Job Overview:

SAP FICO Consultant – Product Costing

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO consultant to join our team as a Product Costing specialist. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Product Costing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP FICO, with a focus on Product Costing. You will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, implement, and support SAP Product Costing solutions, including Cost Center Accounting, Activity Types, Cost Element Accounting, Product Cost Planning, Standard Cost Estimation, BOM & Routing integration, Actual Costing / Material Ledger, WIP, Variance Calculation, Settlement of Orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Support monthly/quarterly closing activities related to product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide end-user training and documentation on costing processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide production support for SAP costing-related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong focus on Product Costing.
  • Hands-on experience with Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger.
  • Good understanding of integration with MM, PP, SD, and CO-PA.
  • Strong knowledge of BOMs, Routings, and Work Centers for cost roll-ups.
  • Experience in variance analysis, WIP, and settlement processes.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
