As an electrical design engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Design and Implementation: Design and implement electrical systems, equipment selections, specifications, and other related processes for various projects.
  • Detailed Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems using computer-assisted engineering or design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Dialux).
  • Technical Specifications and Calculations: Perform detailed calculations and prepare relevant technical specifications, sequence of operations, and details for projects as per customer requirements and existing conditions.
  • Code Compliance and Updates: Stay up-to-date with Codes including NYC Building Code, International Codes, Electrical Code, Energy Code, NFPA Standards, ASHRAE Standards, etc.
  • Design Review and Quality Assurance: Review design concepts, calculations, drawings to ensure accuracy, Code Compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Engineering Submittals and Construction Administration: Review Engineering submittals, shop drawings, and construction administration procedures to provide quick turnaround during project phases.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop training modules, calculation procedures, and company tools used in Design & Execution. Train young engineers to conform to standards and improve performance.
  • Project Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with clients, project managers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of projects as per schedule and requirements.
  • Cost Estimation and Bill of Materials: Develop cost estimation and Bill of Materials as per design concept.
  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Maintain basic knowledge about other trades in terms of MEP coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ Years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
  • Software Skills: Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Team Handling Experience: Must have worked with building services and team handling experience.
  • International Project Experience: International project experience is preferable.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
