Job Description:

  • This role involves working as a Mid-level Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 8+ years of work experience in machine design to support design projects.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in Industrial Equipment and Machineries such as Paper / Printing machineries and discrete product machineries.
  • The responsibilities include performing, planning, and/or scheduling detailed phases of the Engineering work in a portion of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
  • The tasks involve conventional Engineering practice but may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical functions and principles.
  • Able to follow a prescribed engineering process.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, and Inventor.
  • Familiarity with AutoCad 2D.
  • Knowledgeable in selection of mechanical OEM parts.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • MS Office applications and remote desktop programs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
  • Experience in OEM s preferable.
  • Experience with machine Installation / Commissioning / Troubleshooting
