Key Role: Agri Commodity Trader
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Agri Commodities Trader to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for monitoring domestic and international markets for price trends and supply-demand dynamics.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of agricultural markets and commodities, as well as a strong understanding of trading platforms and exchanges.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing buy/sell trades in physical or derivatives markets (spot, futures, options) in the Domestic markets
- Creating and analyzing spread/arbitrage opportunities in domestic markets
- Developing relationships with farmers, brokers, processors, exporters, importers, and institutional clients
- Negotiating contracts and prices for the procurement and sale of commodities
The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure trading environments and make quick decisions.
Requirements
We require:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, economics, business, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred)
- Strong data analysis and market intelligence skills, with proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with warehousing, logistics, and agri-supply chain management
