Design Transfer Engineer Medical Devices

Lubrizol is a specialty chemical company seeking an exceptional Design Transfer Engineer to join our international team.

This role involves providing technical assistance and engineering support to the manufacturing group, improving existing processes, and developing new cost-effective manufacturing concepts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance and process development to the manufacturing floor
  • Supporting flawless product launch activities through active participation in FMEA reviews and cross-functional team events
  • Executing validation and qualification protocols for new products, equipment, tooling, and processes
  • Developing new and cost-effective manufacturing concepts
  • Leading scrap reduction teams through lean methodologies

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in plastic processing, experience in extrusion or molding process design, and strong skills in Autocad or other design software. Knowledge of root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing is highly preferred.
