Business Objects Consultant Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top-tier organization as a Senior Business Objects Consultant. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) projects using SAP Business Objects Data Services and Informatica.
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, and test cases.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and adapt to new environments.
  • Interact with end-users, managers, and technical personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong Analytics/Data Warehouse experience using SAP Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator 4.0 or above for data migration and data quality.
  • Experience in integrating BODS with SAP modules (SAP ECC, BW, and HANA) and non-SAP data sources.
  • Working knowledge of SAP BW on HANA, Native HANA, SAP ECC Functional (FI, OTC).
  • SDLC knowledge including entire life cycle of analysis, design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Manage a sizable team onsite and offshore.
  • Work in an agile delivery model.
  • Create complex Jobs, Workflows, Data Flows, and Scripts using various Transforms (Integrator, Quality, and Platform).
  • Cleanse data using Data Quality transforms.
  • Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing.
