Reporting Engineer - Business Intelligence Development

The position entails designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence reports to support global finance and operations. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex business intelligence reports using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into reporting specifications.
  • Creating and optimizing dashboards and analyses in OTBI.
  • Supporting data extraction and transformation processes.
  • Ensuring compliance and security of enterprise systems.
  • Collaborating with ERP functional and technical teams.
  • Providing production support for reporting solutions.
  • Contributing to reporting standards and best practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in Oracle ERP reporting with strong expertise in BI Publisher and OTBI.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver financial and operational reports for ERP modules.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
  • Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and analytics in OTBI.
  • Understanding of data structures, subject areas, and reporting metadata within Oracle ERP.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) connections for reporting and integration with external systems.
  • Good knowledge of finance processes and reporting cycles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
