Job Opportunity: Dairy Operations Specialist

Dairy Operations Specialists drive the establishment, commissioning, and seamless operation of dairy processing facilities.

  • Provide strategic guidance in setting up a new dairy processing facility – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish efficient supply chain and distribution processes for milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Offer expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
