Job Title: Digital Systems Architect

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and verification process for complex digital systems. You will oversee a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful implementation of high-performance designs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and verifying large-scale SoC, ASIC, or FPGA designs to meet performance, area, and power requirements.
  2. Managing and mentoring a team of engineers to provide technical guidance, training, and foster a collaborative environment.
  3. Defining design specifications and working closely with system architects and hardware engineers to ensure implementation meets performance and timing requirements.
  4. Writing and reviewing high-quality RTL code in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL, focusing on scalability, reusability, and modularity.
  5. Developing testbenches and collaborating with verification teams to ensure thorough verification using simulation, formal verification, and coverage analysis.
  6. Driving performance and timing closure by addressing critical paths and optimizing the design for low power, high speed, and minimal area.
  7. Leading the integration of RTL design blocks into larger systems, ensuring smooth handoffs between teams.
  8. Providing mentorship to junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all system requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital systems design, with at least 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and projects.
  • Expertise in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL for RTL coding, with a strong understanding of digital design principles.
  • Proven experience in designing and verifying complex digital systems.
  • Strong knowledge of digital design flow, including synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and power optimization.
  • Experience with simulation and verification methodologies, including UVM and SV-based testbenches.
  • Proficient in using EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, or other RTL design and verification tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with experience in addressing complex design issues.
