Job Description

Mandate Skill Set

  • Policy and Charging Rule Function (PCRF) Architecture Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia NPC-Policy is a plus
  • Strong understanding of associated Mobile Data Traffic Management technologies, solutions, and architectures
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, containerization (CaaS), Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Installation, integration, and configuration of telecom core nodes (PCRF) on cloud architecture
  • In-depth technical knowledge of 4G, 5G, and Mobile Data & Voice networks, architectures, services
  • Experience with 4G and 5G protocols and interfaces (Gx, GY, Sy, N7, N40, N28) - PCRF and OCS products/platforms
  • Deploying Nokia's (PCRF+OCS) solution in Virtualized or Openstack/Cloud environments
  • Basic Shell Scripting and Linux skills (OS installation, administration, troubleshooting)
  • Designing and developing topology, writing rule sets for PCRF/OCS solutions as per customer requirements
  • Qualifications: B.E / B.Tech
  • Key Attributes: Self-starter initiative, enthusiasm, positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills (e.g., addressing a large, predominantly technical audience)
  • Highly proficient written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to think outside the box to create innovative Mobile Internet/Mobile Broadband Traffic Management Solutions
