Video Editor Job Description

The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand that has been a pioneer in the latest youth style and fashion trends. We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team of like-minded people who share our passion for creating engaging visual content.

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for managing multiple editing assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines. You will edit mockup and day-to-day videos with a sense of fashion and viral trends. You will also work on different projects in video editing, text animation, and basic motion graphics. Your tasks will include making rough and final cuts, handling overall voice-over, sound effects, and noise removal.

To succeed in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach to working on different types of projects. You should also be able to understand visual storyboard paper edits and color schemes. You will be shadowing the Senior Editor in introducing new ideas, concepts, and the pace of visuals using creative and modern combat editing techniques.

Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of video editing experience in a related industry. They will have a basic knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop. They will also possess sharp attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
