Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts.
  • Resolve technical issues with site teams.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs.
  • Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals.
  • Monitor productivity and assist in QA/QC processes.
  • Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant industry experience, preferably in HVAC design.
  • Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements.
  • Proficient in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP).
  • Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks is a plus.
  • Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of related MEP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC training certification.
