We are seeking an experienced professional to design and optimize HVAC systems. Our ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MEP coordination, energy efficiency, and HVAC system performance.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HVAC engineer to join our team in designing and optimizing HVAC systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping design, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Design HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
  • Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20.
  • Select and size HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) based on project requirements.
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Perform energy efficiency analysis and optimize HVAC systems for cost and sustainability.
  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors for system integration.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).
  • Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards.
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues.
