Job Overview

The role of a Fund Accountant involves performing and reviewing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Execute and review daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting tasks as assigned.
  • • Collaborate with various teams to perform daily/monthly/quarterly tasks.
  • • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks through ownership and accountability.
  • • Monitor aged and significantly sized breaks to guarantee timely and accurate resolution by following up with stakeholders as needed.
  • • Act as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by your team.
  • • Perform calculations, booking, and reviewing of deal-wise fees like management, incentive/carry, etc., as assigned.
  • • Maintain end customer satisfaction/CRM satisfaction & process efficiency (15%).
  • • Keep the client/CRM informed about expected delays and reasons thereof on a timely basis along with a plan of action.
  • • Ensure all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality for clients/CRM.
  • • Participate in calls/meetings between team, client/CRM to set expectations right and document the same to clear understanding gaps.
  • • Possess in-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks.
  • • Analyze root causes of problems and escalate to manager as needed.
