Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the development of our data strategy.

  • Data Model Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain scalable data models that drive business insights.
  • Data Ingestion and Transformation: Oversee the processing of data from various sources, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Implement robust quality control measures and documentation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across all datasets.
  • Actionable Insights: Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver actionable recommendations and enhance business outcomes.
  • SQL Query Optimization: Optimize database queries and transformations for maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Version Control and CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain effective version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and models in real-time to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data engineer or architect with expertise in SQL, dbt, and cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and Git.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Looker and Domo.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
