Product Strategist Role: As the Head of Product - RuPay, you will develop and execute product strategy to drive business growth and revenue. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategy for RuPay including product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market plans. This involves conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, and identifying opportunities for product innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, compliance, and legal to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product management. This requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and drive product innovation. This involves staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and customer feedback.
  • Manage product development lifecycle from ideation to launch including product requirements, design, development, testing, and launch. This requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance. This involves using data analytics tools, monitoring metrics, and making informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer feedback and ensure products meet customer needs and expectations. This requires effective communication, active listening, and the ability to empathize with customers.
  • Monitor industry and regulatory changes to ensure RuPay products remain compliant and up-to-date. This involves staying informed about regulatory updates, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Drive product roadmap and short-term and long-term strategy for allotted products considering customer demand and analytics. This requires strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance competing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of card-on-device tokenization, EMVCo standards, and experience as a Tech Product Manager. This includes knowledge of payment systems, security protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful credit card products. This requires experience in product development, marketing, and sales.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product development lifecycle. This involves leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to use data to make informed decisions. This requires data analysis skills, critical thinking, and the ability to evaluate complex information.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This involves clear writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate teams. This requires emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to build trust with team members.
