Job Title: Connectivity Development Lead

The successful candidate will lead the development of connectivity projects at our airport, enhancing passenger experience and ensuring seamless travel.

  • Metro Connectivity: Develop and execute action plans for enhancing metro connectivity to IGI Airport, improving existing Aero Express lines, and extending metro lines from Sector 21 Metro Station to Gurgaon.
  • Airport Master Plan: Revise the Airport Master plan focusing on landside and ground access, collect data, conduct situation analysis, develop a transport model, and create proposals for landside improvements.
  • Commercial Land Parcel Development: Create a traffic circulation master plan for commercial land parcels, determine land use, calculate traffic generation and circulation requirements, and finalize circulation plans.
  • Cargo City Development: Improve traffic circulation for cargo areas, collect and analyze data, conduct situation analysis, and develop proposals covering circulation plans and parking layouts.
  • Integration with Transit-Oriented Development (TOD): Safeguard airport interests, explore pedestrian connections from the west, and resolve issues on NH 8, Shiv Murti Junction, and Dwarka Link Road.

We interact with various external stakeholders, including National Highways Authority of India, Ministry of Highways and Road Transport, Delhi Development Authority, Unified Traffic and Transportation Integrated Planning and Engineering Cell, Ministry of Urban Development, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Public Works Department, Airport Authority of India, and others.

Internal Interactions

Our team collaborates with Airport Master planning Department, Airport City side Department, Airport Strategic Planning Department, Cargo Terminal Planning & Operations Department, and Commercial Property Development Department.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with a Postgraduate degree in Transport Planning.
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience in handling projects related to roads, highways, expressways, bypasses, metro rail, BRTS, airports, bridges, ROBs, truck terminals, station areas, transport hubs, multi-level car parks, SEZs, and ports.
