Job Overview
We seek an ambitious lawyer to join our team. This role offers a steep learning curve, complex legal challenges, and extensive client exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review employment agreements, HR policies, termination documents, and consultancy contracts.
- Advise clients on compliance with Indian labour laws, including the Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, ID Act, EPF, ESI, and PoSH.
- Assist with employment law aspects of investment transactions and organizational structuring.
- Represent clients before labour authorities and support during inspections or audits.
- Conduct legal research and update clients on recent changes in employment and labour law landscape.
- Experience with employment contracts across multiple jurisdictions (including common law countries).
Contract Management and Advisory Services
Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, employment agreements, cross-border instruments, and regulatory filings. Contract lifecycle management: Help clients structure and manage contracts across procurement, vendor, IP, services, and technology categories.
Qualifications and Skills
A bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputable institution. 3-5 years of experience in relevant practice areas. Excellent legal drafting and research skills. Strong understanding of commercial and corporate laws. Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines.
