Key Role: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an expert in Telemetry, Big Data, and backend engineering to help implement a large-scale application for a prominent retailer.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Python, Pyspark, and SQL;
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python/PySpark with strong Big Data experience and a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  • Expertise in Telemetry, Streaming, Analytics, and Data Processing;
  • Strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers, and sensors;
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on a challenging project that requires expertise in Data Engineering, Telemetry, and IoT. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with business stakeholders and has a solid understanding of how data flows through IoT units and how sensors are designed and monitored.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Expertise in Python, Pyspark, and SQL;
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python/PySpark;
  • Strong Big Data experience, preferably with GCP;
  • Telemetry, Streaming, Analytics, and Data Processing skills;
  • Strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers, and sensors;
  • Familiarity with equipment and systems from Emerson, Honeywell, or similar;
