Job Title: Cloud Developer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer to join our team. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for building and enhancing cloud-based applications using technologies like Google Cloud, Python, and workflows.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Google Cloud, BigQuery, Shell scripting, SQL scripts, batch scheduling tools, and experience working in data warehouse regulatory reporting projects.

You will work independently to analyze and resolve production problems and collaborate with global teams across time zones to resolve them.

This role requires the ability to continually enhance skills within specialisms such as business knowledge, interfaces, impact assessments, development, code scanning, and deployments.

In this role, you will contribute to end-to-end feature delivery, including requirement analysis, design, development, environment build, data load, testing, deployment, and code reviews.

You will also be responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Additionally, you should oversee and ensure that all IT General Controls (e.g., SDLC, DEPL) are followed and be able to provide evidence when required by audit reviews from time to time.
