About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the procurement of automotive electrical and electronic commodities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure electrical and electronic components for vehicles including wiring harnesses, sensors and switches, relays and fuses, control units/ECUs, lighting systems, and instrument clusters.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure best cost, quality, and delivery of products.
  • Drive localisation projects to reduce dependency on imports and enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new and existing suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Analyse costs, negotiate with suppliers, and benchmark to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Collaborate with R&D, design, and quality teams to align suppliers with technical requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance for Quality, Cost, and Delivery parameters and implement improvements.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic commodity procurement.
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, localisation, and cost management.
  • Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) and MS Office applications.
