Project Coordinator Role:

We seek a skilled and results-driven Project Coordinator to oversee the execution of retail interior projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end project delivery, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the coordination and management of project activities, including design, procurement, installation, and handover.
  • Communication: Liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and track project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion within agreed financial constraints.
  • CAD Drawings: Interpret and review CAD drawings, layouts, and design plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and feasibility for implementation.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials, finishes, and installations, ensuring that all work complies with specifications and meets client expectations.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks during project execution and implement mitigation plans.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and issues, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Address client concerns, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.

Requirements include:

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of project coordination experience in retail interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel for project tracking and budgeting, familiarity with CAD software, and experience with turnkey retail interior projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to manage client expectations, deliver high-quality results, and ensure client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
