Asset Management Director

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of asset/contract management specialists.
  • Be responsible for understanding operational needs, researching best practices, and maintaining the highest level of performance among team members.
  • Ensure that all assets/contracts are properly managed, tracked, and renewed as necessary.
  • Oversee the utilization and management of assets within the service platform.
  • Identify and implement improvements to contract and asset management processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on contract and asset management activities.
  • Responsible for training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Demonstrate key values for the position level.
  • Responsible for managing resource requirements.
  • Responsible for fostering a team environment that provides exceptional interactions and ensures all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
  • Address team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts within the team.
  • Apply matrix organization guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management and asset management, preferably within a service platform with 7 to 12 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new working conditions and deliver results.
  • Curiosity to understand systems, processes, and people for delivering outcomes.
  • Proficiency in service platforms and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in business, finance, or a related field is often preferred.
