eInfochips has a vacancy for an expert DevOps engineer.

  • We are seeking someone to design, implement and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment
  • Manage deployments in environments such as QA/Stage/Production and engage stakeholders as required, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Institute infrastructure as code, security and process automation and automate routine maintenance tasks
  • Security and Vulnerability Patching
  • Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation
  • Learn on the job and explore new technologies with minimal supervision
  • Participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls and ensure the RCA process is implemented
  • Cross-location team management to create a self-managed team, support skill development, and provide growth paths, performance evaluation, and attrition management
  • Customer management for daily calls to discuss progress/updates, weekly & monthly status reporting, and lead calls with cross-functional teams for creating new services monitors

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration and EKS
  • 6+ years of production environment experience
  • Experience with infra-automation using Terraform| CloudFormation | Ansible
  • Experience working on Linux environments with at least one scripting language
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness or ArgoCD
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom and Cloud Watch
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud Operations processes and Agile Release Processes, and L2/L3 ticketing processes, as well as experience in SRE roles
  • Proficiency with source control and management tools like Git
