Job Title: Land Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the land acquisition process for renewable energy projects in Maharashtra, ensuring technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, and government departments to secure suitable land parcels.
  • Conduct thorough title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  • Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Manage documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps, ensuring clear and concise records.
  • Monitor local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to negotiate cost-effective deals.
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants, handling conflict resolution and addressing any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
