Job Opportunity: Strategic PR Leader

Job Overview:

We seek a skilled and proactive PR professional who can develop impactful media campaigns, foster strong relationships with journalists and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality editorial content under tight deadlines.

This is not an entry-level role – we are looking for someone with extensive experience in PR/communications who can think strategically and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive PR strategies that achieve maximum visibility and credibility.
  • Secure high-profile editorials, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces through established media connections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media owners across various beats.
  • Manage press relations for high-stakes projects, ensuring seamless communication and effective crisis management.
  • Work effectively under pressure, navigating complex projects and multiple stakeholders without compromising results.

Requirements:

  • At least 6–9 years of experience in PR/communications, preferably from boutique firms or independent consulting.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality coverage and editorials with lean teams.
  • Experience handling government projects or public policy communication.
  • Established reputation and respected relationships within the PR ecosystem.
  • A self-motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Background in sustainability, cleantech, policy, or ESG space.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Familiarity with media analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
