UI/UX Designer for Mobile Match-3 Games

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with experience in designing interfaces and user experiences for mobile match-3 games. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to create captivating and user-friendly interfaces that enhance player engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive interfaces tailored to mobile match-3 games
  • Create seamless and engaging user experiences by conducting user research, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design implementation
  • User Research: Conduct user testing sessions and analyze feedback to refine designs and improve the overall player experience
  • Asset Creation: Develop and manage in-game UI assets, including icons, buttons, menus, and HUD elements
  • Design Documentation: Maintain and update style guides, design specifications, and related documentation
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of UI/UX trends and best practices within the gaming industry, particularly in the match-3 genre

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for mobile games, preferably match-3 games
  • Tools: Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work, particularly in mobile games
  • Understanding of Match-3 Games: Familiarity with the mechanics, flow, and player expectations of match-3 games
  • Artistic Sense: Strong visual design skills, including a good sense of color, composition, and typography
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve design challenges in a player-centric way
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to iterate on designs based on feedback and changing project requirements
