The role of Senior Quality Assurance Manager is to oversee the quality assurance process for games published by a leading mobile gaming company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product teams to understand game updates and communicate this information to the testing team.
- Review requirements and builds from an end-user's perspective, providing constructive feedback to product and delivery teams.
- Manage task execution and review tasks completed by the testing team.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and documentation.
- Proactively manage tasks and deliver tests within given timelines.
- Mentor team members' performance and development.
- Optimize test plans by periodically reviewing productivity, eliminating inefficiencies, and identifying opportunities for knowledge sharing between teams.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior testing role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience shipping mobile games from start to finish in a leadership role, working alongside development teams.
- Strong understanding of QA stages, tools, and techniques in mobile gaming.
- Strong knowledge of iOS and Android testing.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with an ability to inspire others.
- Familiarity with managing multiple onsite and external test teams.
- Proven experience hiring, training, and mentoring junior team members.
