Designing Infrastructure Structures

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in designing and delivering high-quality infrastructure structures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in civil engineering and post-graduate degree in structural engineering.

  • Our Structural Engineer will provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.
  • They will review and finalise structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • They will carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • They will coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • They will assess foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • They will prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • They will conduct a review of DPR deliverables from a structural perspective.
  • They will provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.
  • Review and finalise structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • Carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Assess foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct a review of DPR deliverables from a structural perspective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Background:

  • Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
