Job Title

A Customer Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance to customers. This role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, communicating with customers, and escalating complex problems to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in an expedient manner
  • Communicate with customers by listening to and understanding their problem, then clearly explaining detailed technical information
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate next level / internal teams
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Lead troubleshooting & brainstorming discussions
  • Deliver workshops to both local and global teams - customer presentations to senior technical personnel and management
Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of networks
  • CCNA or equivalent knowledge
  • Deep knowledge of supported Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Advanced understanding and experience of networks, firewalls, protocols
  • Extensive understanding and experience of virtualization & cloud concepts
  • Good understanding of technology infrastructure, security concepts and platforms

Education:
