About Our Team

This role is part of a team aiming to create groundbreaking automotive discovery and shopping experiences. We work closely with Product Managers, Sr. Engineers, Quality Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and highly motivated peers to drive the development of maintainable, reliable automation deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of test solutions using new or existing technologies that test major portions of software.
  • Influence the design and write a significant portion of the code.
  • Ensure work is consistently high quality and incorporates best practices.
  • Identify problems and propose solutions, taking on projects that identify and mitigate risk while measuring software quality.
  • Improve your team's automation of development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in building test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
  • Good experience in Frontend, API, and Mobile (iOS and Android) automation framework developments.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, automation tools, and processes with demonstrated experience in an SDET role.
  • Demonstrated experience in Test framework design and development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
