Job Title: General Manager

Role Summary: We seek an experienced General Manager to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in our organization's funding strategy and long-term financial security. The General Manager will collaborate with the executive management team to analyze department finances and develop budgets that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership in financial matters, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Financial Audits and Compliance: Oversee financial audits, internal financial controls, and risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Banking and Forex Compliance: Manage and ensure compliance with banking and foreign exchange regulations, maintaining efficient financial operations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Corporate Finance: Support corporate financial initiatives and provide financial guidance for business decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop financial models and conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, managing both indirect and direct taxation effectively.
  • Profit and Loss Management: Take ownership of profit and loss statements, balance sheet preparation, managing and optimizing financial performance.
  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to the business. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure continuous compliance.

Requirements:
Your Attributes:
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required (CA preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and financial leadership roles
  • Strong analytical and data-gathering skills
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
