Tech Backend Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and implement secure RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js for efficient data transfer.
  • Develop and maintain server-side applications utilizing frameworks like Django, Flask, or Laravel to ensure scalability.
  • Implement robust authentication and authorization systems leveraging Firebase free tier and PostgreSQL for enhanced security.
  • Design and manage database schemas using MongoDB Atlas (free tier) or other databases with PostGRE SQL to optimize data storage.
  • Develop effective data models and database queries to streamline data processing.
  • Develop a blockchain-based certificate verification system for secure identity management.
  • Implement server-side validation and security measures to protect against potential threats.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Integrate third-party services and external APIs as needed to enhance functionality.
  • Document API endpoints and backend functionality for front-end developers to facilitate collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in one or more backend frameworks such as Node.js/Express, Django, Flask, or Laravel.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Ruby to handle diverse tasks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Supabase), SQLite, or NoSQL databases to optimize data storage.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles for efficient data exchange.
  • Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure access control.
