Tax Services Group

Our team of tax specialists work to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting, minimizing or deferring the payment of taxes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Non-profit organization tax returns including 990 & 990-T and understand the main form 990's reporting structure and schedules.
  • Identify key sections of Form 990 and recognize deadlines, extensions, and penalties.
  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance, completing tasks accurately and within defined timeframes.
  • Have a basic understanding of Implications to Form 990 from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
  • Recognize common errors in order of completion forms and schedules.
  • Understand thorough knowledge of Audit Financials like Income statement and Balance sheet.
  • Be accountable for work and lead engagements effectively.
  • Prepare small & medium 990, screening financials, identifying missing open items, asking relevant tax information and documentation.

 

Requirements

  • Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate
  • Experience: 2+ years in 990 or 990-T Non-profit tax.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, demonstrated affinity in pursuing a career in customs matters.
  • Integrity, energy, independent working ability, and collaborative mindset.
  • Active communicator and great team player.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and personal objectivity.
