Database Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide high-level support for our database infrastructure.

This includes monitoring and analyzing log files, ensuring database availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance, and implementing configuration reviews to maintain consistency.

  • Responsibilities include monitoring and responding to database-related incidents, driving corrective action to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • The ideal candidate will have team management experience, with expertise in database installation, troubleshooting, and patching, as well as always ON cluster configuration and management.
  • Additional responsibilities include failover cluster management, replication and link server configuration, database hardening and compliance, and job scheduling and maintenance planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in database administration, with a strong understanding of SQL and database architecture.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with relevant certifications and training.
