Forecasting Expert

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team as a key member of our forecasting department. As a senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data science methods and tools to drive business growth.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Create predictive models using various machine learning techniques, including GBM, LightGBM, XGBoost, Linear Regression, DeepAR, NBEATS, LSTM, RNN, and Hierarchical Forecasting.

  • Develop and maintain statistical models using ARIMA, THETA, Exponential Smoothing, and other time series forecasting methods.

  • Analyze large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and correlations to inform business decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate forecasting results into business operations.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.

  • Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Sciences, Engineering, or quantitative related field.

  • Minimum 5-9 years of working experience as a Data Scientist in industry.

  • Deep and broad knowledge of Data Science methods and tools, including Simulation model building principles, Machine Learning, and best practices.

  • Point Forecasting and Probabilistic Forecasting.

  • Agent-based Simulation Model using Anylogic (good to have).

  • Any type of simulation model experience (good to have).

  • Cross-Validation: Rolling-window, Expanding-window, K-fold, Hold-out.

  • MLOps is also good to have skills.

  • Exposure to LLM or GPT good to have skills.
