Award-Winning Backend Engineer for Cutting-Edge Projects

About the Role:

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the development of our backend services.

  • Design and develop efficient event-driven architecture patterns with expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous communication, and event orchestration without central control.
  • Utilize Python development with GCP SDKs and hands-on experience building and deploying scalable backend services using Google Cloud Platform (e.g., PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
  • Develop schema design and serialization formats expertise in working with Avro (and ideally other formats like ProtobufJSON) for defining, evolving, and validating event schemas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement event-driven architecture using asynchronous communication and event orchestration.
  • Design and develop efficient schema designs using Avro and other serialization formats.
  • Build and deploy robust backend services on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of distributed systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software engineering and computer science fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Python and GCP SDKs.
