Key Responsibilities

This role offers an opportunity to contribute as a senior engineering expert in the water sector. You will be working with our specialist drainage design team, delivering projects and collaborating with clients.

  • Prepare designs adhering to industry standards and protocols.
  • Conduct technical checks and reviews of designs.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster their growth within the company.
  • Lead and participate in design review meetings and progress updates with clients.
  • Develop project scopes, staff utilisation forecasts, and estimate fees.
  • Manage small teams and perform other line management responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working in consultancy environments.
  • Proven track record of building effective client relationships.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working to UK standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation & Civil3D software.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming one within 1-2 years.
