Job Title: Data Science Leader

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Data Science Leader to develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models for mortgage automation. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain accurate, explainable, and compliant AI/ML models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep learning models using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Implement NLP techniques for text analysis, including NER, summarization, Q&A, and OCR.
  • Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, and Milvus.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, and Weights & Biases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in responsible AI practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in applied data science, with a focus on the financial domain.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • NLP expertise, including NER, summarization, Q&A, and OCR.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, risk scoring, credit analytics, and fraud detection.
  • Experience with mortgage underwriting, risk modeling, and KYC/AML checks.
  • Strong foundation in responsible AI practices, including fairness, accountability, and transparency.
