Job Overview

As a strategic leader, you will spearhead the organization's compliance program, ensuring IT activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies and regulations. You will implement and manage an effective IT Governance program, oversee both internal and external IT processes, and maintain a deep understanding of commonly used governance, risk and compliance frameworks.

You will develop schedules for periodic reporting, create and operationalize metrics and reporting activities to continually report on compliance for operational and executive leadership. You will work closely with the ERM team and ensure risk readiness for the entire IT landscape, serve as an advisor to process owners, providing expertise and influencing decisions regarding governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute organization-wide compliance program
  • Implement and manage IT Governance framework
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
  • Develop schedule for periodic reporting
  • Create and operationalize metrics and reporting activities
  • Collaborate with ERM team and ensure risk readiness for IT landscape
  • Serve as advisor to process owners
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating IT Audit policies & procedures and standards documents
  • Coordinate and track all information technology related audits
  • Work closely with customers, external auditors, and outside consultants
  • Maintain excellent relationships with audit entities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT or security related field from an accredited university
  • Holding at least one security certification is preferable
  • Experience in related industry with insight and understanding of IT policies, standards and procedures
  • Thorough Knowledge and understanding of IT Risk, Compliance and Cybersecurity Frameworks
  • Ability to develop standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards
  • Ability to implement IT policies, standards and procedures leading to substantive improvements in compliance with large scale companies
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and resolution of issues
