Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance group, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automation tests for various software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks and scripts using Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement efficient testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain test infrastructure to support large-scale testing.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-4 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in Python, with a focus on data handling using Pandas.
  • Familiarity with Selenium (basic UI automation).
  • Hands-on experience with RegEx for text extraction and validation.
  • Exposure to Large Language Models like GPT, prompt engineering for data extraction tasks.
  • Expert in QA Automation with a strong focus on integration testing and end-to-end validation.
  • Proficient in API testing using Postman.
  • Skilled in writing SQL queries for SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Working knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, and AWS in a CI/CD environment.
  • Experienced in using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Strong functional testing skills including test planning, execution, and regression testing.
  • Proficient in using GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Well-versed in STLC, BLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
