We are seeking an experienced Assistant/Deputy Manager – Production to join our team at MMY, Dahej. This role will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules and sequences, working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless production.
About the Job:
The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Production will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with projects, design, welding, and other internal departments to ensure successful manufacturing.
- Preparing fabrication sequences for vessels and heat exchangers and executing the same.
- Guiding production teams and resolving issues to ensure smooth production activities.
- Preparing manufacturing schedules in MS Project and monitoring progress.
- Reviewing schedules and making recovery plans to meet production targets.
- Preparing shop loads and monitoring requirements to avoid under or overload situations.
- Identifying constraints and highlighting them to ensure timely resolution.
- Day-to-day planning of processes to be carried out.
- Maintaining safety rules and regulations, ensuring good housekeeping, and avoiding accidents.
- Taking initiative in standardizing processes and procedures.
- Reviewing and developing productivity norms.
About You:
We are looking for a skilled professional with:
- Diploma – 12 to 15 years’ experience.
- B. Tech – 8 to 10+ years’ experience in a related field.
- Good knowledge of pressure vessels, heaters, and planning requirements.
Work Environment:
This role will be based in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional site visits and deputation if required.
Physical Demands:
This role will require frequent sitting and operating a computer in a fast-paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change.
