A leading organization with a rich history and strong values seeks an accomplished logistics professional to manage end-to-end gypsum sourcing, oversee vessel chartering, coordinate international shipping, and develop cost-effective logistics strategies.

This role involves working closely with vendors, shipping partners, and internal teams to ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping guidelines while driving cost optimization and process improvements.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a proven track record in vessel chartering and freight rate negotiation, as well as a strong understanding of international trade, export regulations, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Manage end-to-end gypsum sourcing from domestic and international markets.
  • Oversee vessel chartering and negotiate optimal freight rates.
  • Coordinate international shipping, port operations, and customs clearance.
  • Develop cost-effective logistics strategies for import/export operations.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance, driving cost optimization.
  • Maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate with a postgraduate qualification in shipping from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase/logistics within the manufacturing or freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record in vessel chartering and freight rate negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of international trade, export regulations, and compliance.
  • Skill in logistics software, systems, and process optimization.
  • Adept at data analysis, problem-solving, and cost optimization.
