We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and AICPA standards, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

This role requires an individual who is eager to take on responsibilities and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities in assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.
  • Owning growth and service delivery of engagements, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post implementation assessments, and issuance of reports under the AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards.
  • Work closely with clients to execute engagements, leveraging industry and functional insights from our advisory business to bring greater value to clients.
  • Design and execute high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures.
  • Assist in building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols.
  • Create and implement audit strategy relating to evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits.
  • Prepare and communicate issues, risk, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads for AARC-360.
  • Adhere to all quality standards and processes, including the firm's independence requirements, for acquiring clients, opportunities, and submitting proposal and contract documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience.
  • A degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • A Chartered Accountant who is a member of the ICAI.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, professional services firm, or financial services company, or comparable experience as an advisor to a financial services company.
  • Significant experience with auditing IT General Controls and Business Process Controls will be an advantage.
  • Experience with at least two types of engagements: Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting, internal audit risk assessment, financial statement audits/SOX/internal controls, PCI and/or HITRUST Assessments, and/or application security and control reviews (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
