SAP ABAP Specialist

Role Description:

Looking for an experienced SAP ABAP specialist with strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test and deploy custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Extensions, Forms, Workflows – RICEF).
  • Collaborate with functional teams to design and develop technical solutions.
  • Design and implement OData services, CDS Views, and ABAP-based APIs for Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Optimize existing programs for performance and maintainability.
  • Work on debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing SAP standard objects.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in ABAP development.
  • Support migration and upgrade projects including S/4HANA transitions.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of RICEF components, module pool programming, and enhancements.
  • Experience with S/4HANA (at least 1 project preferred).
  • Proficient in OData, CDS Views, and RESTful ABAP programming model.
  • Good understanding of integration with functional modules like FICO, MM, SD, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
