About the Role:

The Operations Optimization Specialist will be responsible for driving efficiency within our production process through time studies, elimination of non-value-added activities, and integration of tools and machinery to optimize lead times. The role requires close collaboration with our Industrial Engineering team to ensure smooth operations and consistent productivity improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed time studies to analyze current production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Reduce non-value-added activities by introducing suitable tools and techniques, streamlining processes and eliminating waste.
  • Implement solutions to reduce lead time by adding and optimizing machinery, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the Industrial Engineering team to improve process efficiency, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure best practices in production engineering, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working with an Industrial Engineering team or as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • BE in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering, with a strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production processes, tools, and machinery, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
